Differentiated Instruction in the Math and Science Classroom

Meigs CSI team is studying the effects of differentiated instruction on student achievement in math and science classrooms. They are investigating how to match instructional approach to the needs and interests of every student. Effective teachers have been differentiating instruction for as long as teaching has been a profession. They are taking an in-depth look at the following three bodies of research: brain-based research; learning styles and multiple intelligences; authentic assessment.
