Alexander Middle School
This team is made up of all the mathematics teachers and some administrators from Alexander Middle School. This year the district implemented 80-minute block scheduling for all mathematics courses in the Middle School. The Alexander CSI team intends to implement the Japanese Lesson Study Model to develop math lessons for 80-minute math classes.

This team wishes to use the Japanese Lesson Study Model to develop effective field research programs for high school science students.

Sheridan Middle School
Sheridan Middle School CSI team is made up of both mathematics and science teachers. This team wishes to research various instructional technologies to determine with which technology works best for enhancing learning in their classrooms.

Tri-County Career Center
This team is investigating whether the online learning resource delivery and assessment system, LON CAPA can be an effective means to provide remediation intervention for students struggling to pass the science portion of the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT). LON CAPA is an open source, gnu licensed system developed at Michigan State University and collaboratively extended by users throughout the world. It is designed specifically to support instruction and assessment in science.
The team is currently building a prototype instructional sequence based on their analysis of the results of a practice OGT administered to freshmen in March 2004. (eventually add info about the resources used for background info, research questions, general research study plan, and eventually a link to the prepared article.
